8: The Wolfie and George Show
This chapter is based on interviews with Wolfgang Droege, George Burdi, some of Burdi's family members, Don Andrews, Robert Smith, Paul Fromm, John Ross Taylor, John Beattie, Ernst Zundel, Anne Ladas, Peter Mitrevski, Jacob Prins, David Irving, Leigh Smith, Eric Hartmann, Steve Dumas, Ian Verner Macdonald and many lesser-known members of the Heritage Front, the Nationalist Party, the Western Guard and the Canadian Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Also interviewed were Bernie Farber, Manuel Prutschi, Karen Mock, Warren Bass, Lorne Shipman, Tony Davy, Amy Go, Dan Dunlop, Bill Dunphy, Scot Magnish and a number of police officers who asked that they not be named. Interviews were conducted between May 1988 and October 1993. Documentary material was culled from newspaper reports, court transcripts, files of the Canadian Jewish Congress and publications and newsletters published by the groups being studied.
